With teachers of aspiring makers in mind, the Education Series guide blocks feature a slot only on one side. This allows for easy clamping of the block to a table or workbench for those that are new to the craft. These come standard with the brass thumbscrews to make adjustments easier for the novice learner.
The price is per set and comes with the angles needed to make the asa-no-ha pattern. It includes two blocks that are 9 inches in length and about 1.75" tall made of solid maple. One block has a 67.5° and a 22.5° angle while the second block has another 67.5° and a 45° angle. The two 67.5° angles make it easy to do the offset point on the hinge piece of the asa-no-ha pattern without having to constantly adjust.
Proudly handmade in Kansas, USA.

Optional "Angle Labeling" available like what comes standard on the normal blocks. Some prefer the cost savings when buying in bulk and some prefer to have it added since its typically used by students. Without the labeling, the blocks will come just like the picture.
Note, these are usually ordered in quantities and infrequently so they are made to order and not stocked. Please allow at least 2 weeks for processing.

Excellent Kumiko Blocks-Beautiful Craftsmanship.
These kumiko blocks are exceptionally well made and clearly show a high level of craftsmanship. The fit and accuracy are excellent, and they feel solid and precise in use. My order arrived very quickly and was priced very fairly for the quality received. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for high-quality kumiko tools. Ed Weiss, Lake View, NY
